Who we are

The Space We Keep ("we", "us") provides a private companion app for couples, designed to be used alongside their own therapy. You can reach us at evgenii@spacewekeep.com.

What the service is

A private space for two linked partners to check in between their own counseling sessions. We are not a medical, therapy, or crisis service and do not provide medical or crisis advice; if you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a helpline.

The Space We Keep is currently in private preview, available by invitation only.

What we collect

Account details you provide — your email address and a display name.
The notes and check-ins you choose to record in the app.
Limited technical information needed to run the service securely, such as session and security logs.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.

How we use your information

Only to provide the service to you and your linked partner, to keep your account secure, and to send the limited emails described below.

Your consent

Because your entries can include information about your emotional wellbeing, we ask for your explicit consent when you create your account, before we store them — together with a confirmation that you are 18 or older. You can withdraw your consent at any time: emailing us to close your account withdraws it and removes the entries you recorded (see below).

Sharing with your partner

The service is designed for two people. When you link with a partner, the entries you choose to share are visible to that partner, and only to the two of you.

Email and notifications

We send transactional email only:

a one-time link to confirm your email when you create an account, and
a link to reset your password, only when you request it.

We send no marketing email and never share or sell email addresses. Optional reminder notifications, if you turn them on, contain no personal content.

Where your data is stored, and security

Your data is stored in the European Union. It is encrypted at rest and protected in transit with TLS. Your entries are not end-to-end encrypted: we can technically access your data to operate and support the service, but that access is limited to that purpose, and we never sell or share it.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of reputable infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service — for hosting, transactional email, and DNS. Your data is stored in the European Union, as described above.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us at any time to delete your account and the entries you recorded, by emailing evgenii@spacewekeep.com. Entries your partner recorded — including what they noted about the relationship — belong to them and are not removed by your request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to or restrict how it is used. Email us to exercise any of these.

Children

The service is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; we will post the new version here with a revised date.
